Her first experience on a professional movie set was for The Happy Funeral Director (2000) as an assistant director and script supervisor. She has also contributed to the screenplay of critically acclaimed indie movie Take Care Of My Cat (2001). Her first long feature film ...ing was met with a very positive response and had a great following in Japan as well, to the point where the Japanese film studio AMUSE Entertainment offered her to direct romcom
