His film Rejsen på ophavet/Max by chance (2004) was chosen for First Appearance at IDFA Amsterdam and received a GulDok for Best Short Documentary at CPH:DOX, 2004. His next film Verden i Danmark/The World in Denmark (2007) received a Danish Robert for Best Short Film. Besides his filmmaking activities he also works as a lecturer at the National Film School of Denmark.
