Pramod Veliyanad

Born in 1978,A native of Kuttanad Veliyanad in Alappuzha district. He was born to KK Prakash and Vijayamma. Completed his education at Veliyanad LP School, Perunna NSS School and Changanassery NSS College. He has been active in art work since school and college level. He has been in theater for 24 years. Cochin Nayana's play Oramma Peta Makkal was her first role. Abhayan Kalavarur is Pramod's mentor in the field of drama. Starting with Cochin Nayana, he acted in theater troupes like Thiruvananthapuram Ananthapuri, Chirainkeesh Anugara, Rajan P Dev's Cherthala Jubilee, Changanassery Aniyara, Pala Communications, Thiruvananthapuram Souparnika, Thilakan's Samiti Ambalapuzha Aksharajwala and Kanjirapalli Amala. Pramod won the State Government Award for Best Comedian in 2007 for his performance in Aniyara's drama Rastriya Paatava.
