Wanjiru’s film credits include several films, her most personal, “Look Again” nominated for a 2012 African Movie Academy Award, Winner- Best Diaspora Film- Kalasha Awards(Kenya) and television credits on “Samantha Who”, ‘Super temps” and “Mostly Evil” among others. She directed the red carpet interviews for Women In Film’s 5th Annual Pre-Oscar party, a live taping the he SAG-AFTRA and Women In Film Q&A panel of the film MISSRepresentation as the 2012 Women in Film/ Variety purple carpet interviews for their celebrating the 2012 Female Prime-time Nominees. Her African and American upbringing influences her approach as a director to film and television. Acclaimed Director Jon Amiel has been her mentor for the past four years.
